What Kind Of Rhapsody

First I want to explain something about all the Rhapsody's. Because I understand that you are a little mixup with all the Rapsody´s, here is some explanation. Luca Turilli and Alex Starapoli started Rhapsody in 1993 under the name Thundercross, and changed that in 1995 to Rhapsody. Because there was already a band with that name, they had to change it in 2006 into Rhapsody of Fire. In the meanwhile, Luca had already his own sideprojects, under his own name, and Luca Turilli´s Dreamquest. Luca left Rhapsody of Fire in 2011, and started LT´s Rhapsody. This lasted until 2016.

Rhapsody of Fire still exists as a band, with Alex Starapoli as the only original member. The rest of the band are new members.

In 2017 Luca Turilli, Fabio Lione, Dominique Leurquin, Alex Holzwart and Patrice Guers did the Rapsody Reunion Farewell Tour. Everybody, except for Alex Starapoli.

And from late 2018 we had the new Rhapsody, Turilli / Lione Rhapsody. With the same members as Rhapsody Reunion. So at that moment we had two Rhapsody´s, Rhapsody of Fire and Turilli / Lione Rhapsody. Now with the disbanding of the band, there is one Rhapsody left, Rhapsody of Fire.

The band toured again in 2025, but that was under the name Fabio Lione's Dawn of Victory. Justin Hombach replaced Luca Turilli.
